It’s a total takeover! Luma Wealth interns Esther Ling and Maggie Chen host the Fairport Flash to ask Wealth Advisor Tyler Colton hard-hitting questions about financial literacy amongst teens and young adults, and everyone’s favorite topic: taxes!
The purpose of the Luma Wealth internship and scholarship program is to introduce and educate young women to potential careers in the financial services industry. Through their six-week internship, Esther and Maggie met with and shadowed team members in each department, including investments, financial planning, client service and marketing. They also attended client meetings and events, had the chance to interview notable women in the finance industry, and worked on a variety of projects, including this podcast!
Esther and Maggie are both rising juniors at Laurel School for Girls and through their internship receive a college stipend via a 529 Saving Plan.
